Create a Meditation Ritual

The easiest way to create a ritual is to just do it everyday until it is part of your daily routine. If you decide to or want to learn meditation the easiest way is to start in the mornings.

Morning meditations are the best because the house is quiet, your mind is clear, and you certainly can get your day off on the right foot with this practice.

Next you will have to decide what room you choose to practice, the time you wake up, and will you have extra accessories such as a candle to light or a special blanket to wrap around you to keep you warm. Be creative and make it simple.

Now how do I start? The simplest way to start is breath counts. What you will do is sit in your space close your eyes lightly or keep them half way close gazing upward in between your eyebrow. You can feel free to place your hands on your heart or rest them palms up on your knees.

Now lets start with the breath counts you will inhale saying 10 to yourself or quietly out loud, then exhale 10 slowly, inhale 9 exhale 9 repeating the same process until you reach number 1. This should take no longer then 10 minutes to complete.

You soon will feel the changes when you continue on. Changes of feeling calmer, less anxious, happier, and more positive. This is one meditation practice that can be done while driving in your car, at the grocery store, or even at work. Be patient with yourself and honor yourself for taking this change to your health and mental being.

Meditation may come easy for some but not others. It is perfectly normal for your mind to wander time to time just remember get back to your breath.

If you should have any further questions feel free to reach out.

Surrounding yourself in a open peaceful place will make your practice so much better.
